Beth is a seasoned filmmaker based in Winnipeg whose education and experience span the media production scale. Her training is varied and production interests expanding.
With an honours degree in Theatre (Bishop's University, Quebec) a certificate in Film (New York University, New York)) and decades of specialized study in Film Business Practice, Improvisation, and Dramaturgy - she continues to advance her education and collect new skills.
Recent freelance credits include Writer (two episodes of "Almost Unsolved Heists", Refuge 31 Films), Assistant Director (feature film "Amber", Wild Boar Productions Inc.), Production Co-ordinator (feature film "Polarized", Julijette Inc.) and Crew positions on various local productions.
Be it comedy or drama, social commentary or commercial - memorable and meaningful content is her goal. She has been writing/ directing/ producing community interest documentaries under the independent banner of MEYDL MEDIA INC. since 2015. Her current focus is on developing innovative feature films, television shows, and web series for co-production with global audiences in mind.
She has lived in New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Quebec, Australia, Guyana, and Tobago where ongoing collaborations with Caribbean artists are directed at creating fashion forward videos for diaspora audiences around the world. Manitoba is her home however, and many of her projects are designed to be made here.
